Inp.polri.go.id – Bogor. Bogor Sub-regional Police logs around 120,000 vehicles have passed Puncak Road on Isra Mi’raj and Lunar New Year long holidays. Police assumed that the number is the peak volume of the vehicle on the long holiday. Around 50,000 vehicles came from Jakarta to Puncak and 70,000 vehicles came down from Puncak to Jakarta according to Saturday traffic reports. The Head of Traffic Unit of Bogor Sub-regional Police says “We predicted that on Sunday (2/11/2024), there would be more vehicles returning from Puncak to Jakarta than tonight,” said the police chief on Saturday (2/10/2024) night. Responding to the situation, Police will anticipate the traffic congestions with one way traffic engineering, with traffic from Puncak to Jakarta as priority. (ad/ek/pr/nm)
