Manggarai Sub-regional Police Chief, Superintendent Edwin Saleh led the send-off rally for the polling stations security of 2024 General Election on Sunday (2/11/2024) at Apel Field, Manggarai Sub-regional Police HQ. The rally was attended by 239 polling stations security personnel and 250 assigned personnel that will be tasked in securing 970 polling stations. Chief Edwin, in his remarks stressed that in polling stations security operations, members are expected to uphold the Commander Wish of East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) Regional Police Chief. Furthermore, Edwin also expects his members to give their very best in securing the polling stations and providing service to the people in need. “Every member involved in this operation is expected to cooperate with related stakeholders and build cooperation with polling stations staff, and the military at the locations,” said Edwin. On that occasion, Edwin also welcomes the Assigned Personnel from East Nusa Tenggara Regional Police in Manggarai Regency. He hoped that personnel assigned for the duty could perform well and helped Manggarai Sub-regional Police in providing security in the region. (ad/sy/pr/nm)
