To provide a sense of security to visitors, the North Sumatra Police (Polda Sumut) Mobile Brigade Unit (Brimob) dispatched a SAR Team to do patrols at several tourist beach. Saturday (7/5/22). One of them is the Cermin beach tourist attraction and Wong Rame beach which is located in the Cermin Kanan Coastal Village, Pantai Cermin District, Serdang Bedagai Regency, North Sumatra, which is the first location for patrols of Brimob Polda Sumut. One unit of the SAR Team, led by Bripka Oremus, immediately giving security while providing an appeal to the community to always pay attention to the children, and always prioritize safety when swimming or enjoying the attractions provided by the beach manager. The Head of the Operations Unit for Brimob Polda Sumut, Commissioner Heriyono explained that this activity was carried out to anticipate the worst scenario and disturbances at the beach, and also to provide a sense of security and comfort for visitors who were enjoying the Eid holiday. "In the field, we are coordinating with related parties at the beach tourism location in providing security services. Our duty is focused on providing security to the people who are on vacation while giving them an appeal to always prioritize personal safety, "explained the Head of the Operations Unit for Brimob Polda Sumut. Meanwhile the Commander Unit of Brimob Polda Sumut, Commissioner Christiyanto Goetomo, S.I.K., S.H., M.H., stated the Patrol was to provide a sense of security for people who are enjoying their vacation at the beach. “This activity is part of Brimob's service to the community by being present and providing a sense of security in the community. This SAR team will later patrol the coastal areas, and collaborating with relevant stakeholders, namely the Polairud Directorate, BPBD and Basarnas to carry out these patrols and security," concluded Commissioner Christiyanto.
