The male victim was found dead by one of the officers on Thursday (4/24/2025) at around 11.30 WIB.       

"Based on the testimony of the witness, when the victim was found, he was already dead on a tree using a blue rope," said Soetta Airport Regional Police Chief, Senior Superintendent  Ronald Sipayung in Tangerang, quoted by Antaranews, Thursday (4/24/2025).

He said that based on the results of the examination and crime scene processing (TKP), the victim's body was known to be a foreign citizen from China with the initials SH.

"From the initial examination, it was discovered that the victim was a foreign citizen with the initials SH," he said.

Ronald has not been able to provide detailed information regarding the motive and country of origin of the foreigner who allegedly committed suicide.

However, he said, his party has now deployed a forensic team to conduct an in-depth investigation of the foreigner's body to uncover the basis of the motive in the case.

"Currently, the victim's body was taken to Kramat Jati Hospital, East Jakarta for further examination," he said.
