Inp.polri.go.id - Nduga. The Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force announced on Thursday (2/16/23) that they have completed a crime scene analysis at Paro Airport in Nduga, Papua after the Armed Criminal Group (KKB) set ablaze a Susi Air plane.
"We have completed the crime scene analysis and cleaned the runway. Hopefully, it is able to serve the landing of airplanes by today," said Head of the Cartenz Peace Operation Task Force Police Senior Superintendent Faizal Ramadhani.
He said that the Susi Air plane was 80% burnt, leaving only its wings, propellers and tail that remained intact.
"Until now, Kopasgat is on-guard there," he said, referring to the Air Force’s Rapid Movement Force Command.
The KKB led by Egianus Kagoya set ablaze a Susi Ai planer on February 7, 2023 and took the pilot of the airline, Phillip Mehrtens hostage.
