Inp.polri.go.id - Hassa. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Emergency Medical Team (EMT) introduced soccer for children in Hassa as a part of the trauma healing for the young earthquake victims in Hassa, Hatay province, Turkey

"Yesterday (2/15/23), the team reported that some of its members and several media people invited children and adolescents there to play football together," said Head of the Public Information Bureau of the INP Public Relations Division Brigadier General Ahmad Ramadhan on Thursday (2/16/23).

He said that the team also provided the young earthquake victims with toys, food, and fruits as an effort to boost their morale.

"They really need this kind of support because the natural disaster has impacted the victims psychologically and psychosocially.  The team has been attempting to provide what they need," he explained.

The EMT has set up a field hospital consisting of two tents since Wednesday (2/15/23) to help the earthquake victims in Turkey. Local hospitals have met their respective full capacities due to the large number of victims affected by the disaster.
