Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Indonesian sovereign wealth fund Danantara Indonesia and Crédit Agricole Corporate and Investment Bank (CIB) have signed a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to boost bilateral cooperation and accelerate investment in Indonesia’s strategic sectors.

“This MoU reflects Danantara’s commitment to expanding global partnerships and unlocking financing that supports Indonesia’s economic transformation,” said Pandu Sjahrir, the Chief Investment Officer of Danantara Indonesia,  on Thursday (29/5/2025), as quoted by antara news.com.

The agreement, signed during the Indonesia-France Business Forum alongside French President Emmanuel Macron’s state visit, outlines joint efforts to design and fund sustainable investment projects aligned with Indonesia’s development priorities.

Focus areas include renewable energy, mineral downstreaming, digital infrastructure such as data centers, and agriculture and food security.

The two parties will establish a joint working group to identify investment opportunities, leveraging Crédit Agricole CIB’s global network and expertise in sustainable finance.

Crédit Agricole’s Asia-Pacific Senior Officer Jean-Francois Deroche said the partnership marks a major step in supporting Indonesia’s real economy and energy transition goals.
