Director of Directorate of Traffic Security of East Java Regional Police, Police Grand Commissioner Latif Usman accompanied by Chief of Ngawi Resort Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant I Wayan Winaya monitored Emergency PPKM Control Post at Toll Exit in Ngawi, Sunday (07/18/2021).
During the visit, Police Grand Commissioner Latif Usman monitored vehicle flow from Central Java to East Java and vice versa as well as directly monitored the implementation of insulation carried out by Ngawi Resort Police personnels.
On the occasion, Police Grand Commissioner Latif Usman mentioned to media crew that Covid-19 Emergency PPKM Control Post was carried out based on Minister of Home Affairs Number 15 Year 2021, the third point letter L that mentioned:
Domestic travelers using private cars, motorbikes and long-distance public transportation (airplanes, buses, ships and trains) must:
1. Show the vaccine card (at least the first dose of vaccination).
2. Shows D-2 PCR for airplanes and Antigen (H-1) for private cars, motorbikes, buses, trains and ships transportation modes.
3. The provisions as referred to in number 1) and number 2) only apply to arrivals and departures from and to Java and Bali and do not apply to transportation within the agglomeration area for example Jabodetabek area.
4. Drivers of logistics and other goods transportation vehicles are exempt from the provision of having a vaccine card.
Meanwhile, Chief of Ngawi Resort Police, Police Grand Commissioner Attendant I Wayan Winaya said, during the monitoring, traffic flow and vehicles inspected at the Control Post were relatively in small amount of number. Activities run in an orderly, smooth and controlled manner.
"For Emergency PPKM Control Post at Ngawi Toll Exit, it is led by Head of Traffic Unit Control Officer with 29 personnels consisting of 19 Indonesia National personnels, 2 Indonesia National Armed Forces personnels, 2 Municipality Police (Satpol PP) personnels, 2 Regional Disaster Management Agency (BPBD0 personnels, 2 Health Agency personnels and 2 Transportation Agency personnels," Chief of Ngawi Resort Police concluded.
