inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Inspector of General Supervision, Commissioner General Dedi Prasetyo assures that the 18 disabled INP personnel will have the same opportunities as the others.
These opportunities range from career advancement and educational opportunities, they will have the same opportunities as other members.
“If they want to pursue their study, they are welcome to do so, we will provide them with the facility,” said Dedy on Friday (1/17/2025).
Dedy emphasized that the expertise possessed by the 18 personnel must also continue to be pursued. It is known that most of the 18 members are athletes, ranging from athletics, taekwondo, and silat.
The 18 disabled police members, spread across various Regional Police throughout Indonesia, were also invited to come to the INP HQ to better get to know each other.
Dedi said that the recruitment of disabled police members shows the concern of INP under the leadership of the Chief of Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo. According to him, General Sigit is very caring and friendly towards people with disabilities.
"The Chief of Police has created an inclusive policy, opening up equal opportunities and opening policies that provide egalitarian opportunities to the community," said General Dedi.
Furthermore, Dedy also expressed his pride in police members with disabilities. This is because they have gone through education at SPN and Sepolwan with flying colors. The education at SPN and Sepolwan itself is considered difficult by many.
