inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Chairman of Commission III of the House of Representatives (DPR), Habiburokhman, commended the Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police for their success in solving the death of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs diplomat with the initials ADP (39). The Chairman of Commission III assessed that the case was clear and unambiguous.
"As Chairman of Commission III, we commend the performance of the Indonesian National Police (INP), especially the PMJ, for revealing the death of the young diplomat so clearly and eloquently," he said on Thursday (7/31/2025).
He commended the scientific criminal investigation mechanism carried out by the Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police. He stated that the investigation, involving numerous experts, greatly assisted the public in understanding the case.
"From the facts presented, we can see that the investigators have worked with great care, patience, thoroughness, and precision," said Habiburokhman.
He highlighted the Jakarta Metropolitan Regional Police's stance in not closing the case despite the discovery of several facts. He believes this demonstrates the investigators' understanding of criminal law principles.
"Interestingly, it was stated that the victim died without the involvement of anyone else, yet investigators have not yet closed the case. This demonstrates that investigators fully understand the principle of criminal law that final conclusions must be drawn based on irrefutable evidence," he said.
