inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Drug Criminal Investigation Directorate of Indonesian National Police (INP) thwarts drug trafficking of meth from Malaysia. The total seized evidence by the police in this case is 38 kg of meth.

The Director of INP Drug Criminal Investigation Directorate, Brigadier General Eko Hadi Santoso says that the uncovering began from information of a transaction from Malaysia to Bengkalis Regency, Riau Provinces.

“Then, on Friday, April 18th, 2025, our team conducted a surveillance around the area and when on the shore, we got the suspect who was getting off of their speed boat at 00.30 am, April 19th, 2025,” explains Eko on Saturday (4/19/2025).

According to Eko, the suspect is Moch Hery who is currently being interrogated by the team. Furthermore, said the Director, the team conducted a search and confiscated 38 packages of narcotics estimated to weigh 38 kg of crystal methamphetamine stored in a boat bike.

"The team is currently still developing the suspect's network," he said.
