Kyiv Deputy Mayor Mykola Pvoroznyk said one person died and six were injured. He said explosions were heard on the other side of Kyiv as the air defenses destroyed another incoming missiles.

Ukrainian Foreign Minister Dmytro Kuleba said the G7 countries should respond to the latest attack by imposing new sanctions on Russia and providing Ukraine with weapons supplies.
Russia's invasion of Ukraine was the biggest conflict in Europe since World War II. Western support for Ukraine is now starting to weaken as its leaders fear the economic consequences.
British Prime Minister Boris Johnson said the west must stand united against Russian President Vladimir Putin.
"The price of going back, the price of letting Putin succeed in hijacking large parts of Ukraine, continuing his program of conquest, that price will be much, much, much higher," Johnson said.
Life in Kyiv has actually eased a bit compared to the initial period of the Russian invasion which began on February 24, although air raid sirens are still audible. Kyiv has not been the object of Russian air strikes since early June.
Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko said via Telegram that several people were trapped in the rubble of apartments after Sunday's attack, including a seven-year-old who was rescued.
A spokesman for the Ukrainian Air Force explained that the Russian attack involved 4 to 6 long-range missiles fired more than 1,000 km in the Astrakhan area, Russia. Russian missiles also hit the city of Cherkasy which was never a target until now.
