East Lampung Police Chief, AKBP Zaky Alkazar Nasution explained, that this patrol was due to the planned incerease in fuel price. “This patrol is part of police effort in safeguarding the community. In addition to creating a sense of security for the community, it is also to prevent misuse of fuel use," explained the Police Chief. "It is true that we have deployed personnel to monitor all gas stations in the East Lampung Regency," explained the police chief. The East Lampung Police Chief added that until now the distribution of fuel to gas stations in the East Lampung region is still under control. Then, responding to the planned increase in fuel prices, Zaky appealed to the public not to respond excessively to panic buying. He also asked the public to remain calm, and also do not take advantage of the opportunity, and waits for an official decision from the Government.
