Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Tanjung Priok Port Sub-regional Police have arrested eight suspects linked to the mugging of a French woman, Parent Marion Marie, and her child at Tanggul Pos 6, Sunda Kelapa Port, Jakarta on 5 March 2025.

The final suspect, identified as IM, was arrested in Bekasi, marking the full resolution of the case. 

Authorities tracked the suspects across multiple regions, including Sumatra, before their arrests. The group stole a Nikon Z7-II camera, valued at Rp 40 million, and sold it, splitting Rp 8 million among themselves.

The suspects face charges under Articles 365 and 480 of the Criminal Code for violent theft and receiving stolen goods, carrying a maximum sentence of nine years.

French Embassy representative Commodore Olivier expressed gratitude to Indonesian police for their swift action in solving the case.
