Inp.polri.go.id - Semarang. The family of AR, a deceased doctor who was a student in the Specialist Doctor Education Program (PPDS) for Anesthesiology at Diponegoro University (Undip), Semarang, has reported alleged bullying by her seniors to the Central Java Regional Police.

Misyal Achmad, the family’s legal representative, said on Wednesday evening t(4/9/2024) that AR faced threats, intimidation, and extortion from several seniors. 

All evidence has been submitted to the police for investigation, though Misyal did not disclose the names of the suspects, according to antaranews.com.

He expressed concerns about possible negligence in addressing the bullying and urged the police to ensure a thorough investigation and use this case to address similar issues.

Central Java Police Head of Public Relations Senior Superintendent Artanto confirmed the report, saying the case is under investigation.

AR was found dead in her Semarang dormitory on 12 August  2024, in a suspected suicide linked to the bullying.
