Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa on Wednesday (14/1/2026) said the government will evaluate officials at the Directorate General of Taxes, with staff rotation or temporary suspension considered for those linked to misconduct, following an ongoing corruption probe in Jakarta.
“We will evaluate them thoroughly; those involved may be rotated to remote posts or even sent home, depending on the severity,” he told reporters.
There Minist said minor violations could result in reassignment, while serious wrongdoing would warrant stricter measures. The review comes after the Corruption Eradication Commission (KPK) seized documents, electronic evidence, and cash during searches at two tax directorates earlier this week, according to antaranews.com
Minister Purbaya stressed that due process would be respected, noting that employees under investigation remain entitled to institutional support until a court verdict is reached, without any interference in law enforcement proceedings.
