inp.polri.go.id - Aceh. Aceh Regional Police Chief, Inspector General Achmad Kartiko launched the first C1 driving license (SIM) issuance service at Pidie Jaya Sub-regional Police.

“We are proud to have launched the first C1 driving license in Sumatra. This service is only in Pidie Jaya Sub-regional Police for now,” said the Inspector General Achmad Kartiko on Friday (7/19/2024).

He explains that the C1 Driving License is a license for driving the 250 to 500 cc motorbike.

Achmad states that the lauching demonstrates the committment of the Indonesian National Police, particularly the Aceh Regional Police in giving the best service to the community.

The launching of the C1 driving license service, said Achmad, is not only as a new service for the community, but also a strategic move in facing security, safety, and order challenges in traffic.

“This service is the effort to ensure that people have the correct permit in riding their vehicles and ensure that every driver has the knowledge and skill in driving at the road,” explains Achmad.

The two-star general underscores that security and safety in traffic is not the responsibility of the police only, but also the responsibility of the public.
