inp.polri.go.id - West Nusa Tenggara. The downpour that hit Mataram City caused flooding in several areas and forced hundreds of people to evacuate. As a form of state presence in an emergency situation, the West Nusa Tenggara (NTB) Regional Police Medical Unit moved quickly to provide direct medical assistance at the evacuation site.
Medical teams were deployed to several crucial points such as BTN Riverside Park Residence, Selagalas Vihara, and Kekalik Jaya Village, Sekarbela District.
At these locations, the refugees received health services in the form of general examinations, assistance with medicines, vitamins, masks, and first aid services.
In addition to direct medical services, the medical team also actively supports the medical evacuation process for those who need special attention. This service is carried out collaboratively with other agencies such as the Health Service and local volunteers.
The NTB Regional Police also opened an emergency health service post that will continue to operate during the disaster. All services are provided free of charge as a real form of police devotion and concern for the community.
