Not only the Bengkulu Regional Police, the National Police and other ranks were also asked to immediately take action against thuggery actions that are troubling the people in their respective regions.
The action of this thuggery has previously been instructed by the National Police Chief, Police General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, recently took action against the Regional Police and the National Police who have not yet taken action against acts of thuggery in their area.
Responding to these instructions, the Bengkulu Regional Police Chief, Pol. General Inspector Teguh Sarwono through the Head of Public Relations of the Bengkulu Regional Police, Pol. Grand Comissioner Sudarno said he would take action against all forms of illegal acts that disturb the public. The Bengkulu Regional Police Chief asked the public to report illegal or thuggish things to the police so that they can be followed up.
According to the Regional Police Chief, there are still many illegal acts in Bengkulu Province that lead to illegal parking. This is certainly a joint work of both the government and the police in controlling illegal parking lots that are troubling the community at this time.
“All forms of illegal acts that disturb the public, please report them. If it is an illegal act such as parking, it is the local government who knows exactly how to park illegally. Because the one who issues the permit is the local government,” he explained.
Related to this, the local government must take action and enforce regional regulations and the police in this case will help in controlling them.
Previously, the Indonesian National Police Chief issued instructions to all his staff in the region to take action against thuggery and other conventional criminals who are disturbing the public, considering that this is the attention of the President of Republic of Indonesia.
"If I haven't taken action, I as the National Police Chief will be reprimanded, this is also part of the Maintenance of Public Order and Security program in the Precision program which must be followed up by all members and ranks in the field," he concluded.
