inp.polri.go.id -  The Garuda Wisnu Kencana (GWK) Cultural Park will be the main venue for the G20 Summit in Bali. The place, which the icon of Bali's tourism, became a place for dinner for the heads and delegates who attended. The name choice of Garuda Wisnu Kencana refers to the statue the god Vishnu wearing a golden crown and a large Garuda. Kencana itself means gold. Lord Vishnu in Hinduism is believed to be the guardian god or 'sthiti'. While the Garuda bird he was riding became part of the story of Garuda and his Kingdom, which tells about the devotion and sacrifice of Garuda in saving his mother from slavery. The Garuda Wisnu Kencana statue is used as a statue to welcome tourists visiting the island of Bali, due to its height, that reached 121 meter, which can be seen very clearly and impressively from the plane when entering the island of Bali. The statue itself is close to Bali's Ngurah Rai airport.
