inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Primary and Secondary Education (Mendikdasmen) Abdul Mu'ti said that the government continues to strive to build inclusive education for all Indonesian children, including by inviting stakeholders in the education sector to collaborate.
"The government continues to strive to invite all stakeholders in the field of education, including school principals, teachers, foundation administrators, education personnel, students, parents, the community, and education supervisors to jointly develop an inclusive educational environment for all children without exception," explained the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education on Tuesday (12/3/2024).
It is known that inclusive education is an education system that provides opportunities for all students to learn together, regardless of differences, backgrounds, abilities, and learning needs.
Previously, the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education had also appealed to all Indonesian people to build an inclusive environment, starting from educational spaces to the community environment.
According to the Minister of Primary and Secondary Education, currently the development of an inclusive environment, especially in the education space, is still faced with a number of challenges. Among them are related to the implementation of inclusive policies in the school environment, both at the national and regional levels.
"There are still several challenges in the implementation of inclusive education in the future that we must resolve together, starting from the challenges of implementing inclusive policies in the school environment to the support and regulation of inclusive education at the regional level," said Minister Mu’ti.
On the same occasion, Mu'ti also reminded that the spirit of inclusivity presented by all parties in this country must be able to provide space for each individual to shine without limits.
