Led by Jayapura Sub-regional City Police Drug Criminal Investigation Unit Chief, Police Senior Inspector Febry V. Pardede, the drug termination process was witnessed by the two suspects and Jayapura Sub-regional City Police Head Supervisor, Police Senior Inspector Enis M. Romony, also the Public Prosecutor (JPU) from the Jayapura District Attorney's Office.

Febry explained that the suspect with the initials YS (28) was arrested by the police with evidence weighing 228.8 grams based on Police Report Number: LP / A / 27 / X / 2024 / SPKT.SATNARKOBA / POLRESTA JAYAPURA KOTA / POLDA PAPUA, dated October 18, 2024 Regarding Narcotics Crimes

"The second suspect is BK (57) with the seized evidence of drugs weighing 8,934.92 grams based on Police Report Number: LP / A / 28 / X / 2024 / SPKT.SATNARKOBA / POLRESTA JAYAPURA KOTA / POLDA PAPUA, dated October 24, 2024 Regarding Narcotics Crimes," said Febry V. Pardede.

Febry noted that his party will continue to remind the people of Jayapura City to not consume and even sell the drugs as firm consequences awaits them who did it.

The destruction was witnessed directly by representatives from the prosecutor's office as a form of transparency and part of the stages of the investigation process by investigators which was a request from the prosecutor's office.
