inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Vice Minister of Health Benjamin P. Oktavianus outlined the policies and direction of national health development toward the vision of Golden Indonesia 2045, which focuses on three major health transformation agendas.
Benjamin stated that the three major agendas currently being implemented are primary care transformation through strengthening community-level health services by expanding access to community health centers and promotive and preventive services.
Second, referral service transformation, building an efficient and equitable hospital service system across all regions. And lastly is health resilience system transformation which focuses on increasing capacity to deal with health crises, including pandemics and disasters.
"Going forward, Indonesia's health system must be more equitable, robust, and sustainable. The role of academics and researchers is crucial in supporting this transformation," explained Benjamin on Thursday (10/16/2025).
On that occasion, Benjamin also highlighted the government's achievements in the free health check-up program, which has reached more than 41 million people, with the support of more than 10,000 community health centers throughout Indonesia.
"We hope that research collaborations like the one Unhas is conducting today can strengthen the national health system and become a driving force for change toward a healthy and prosperous Indonesia," he said.
