Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The air quality of Jakarta keeps getting worse as now its nominated as the most polluted city in the world. This unfortunate news was conveyed through IQAir reports as it shows that Jakarta indicator was already in red on Tuesday (9/19/2023).
The pollution rate for Jakarta, according to IQAir, was at 164 at 7:19 which puts the capital of the current ASEAN chair as the most polluted city in the world. As the pollution gets worse in the city, the air which the people breathe in gets more dangerous.
“The concentration of PM2.5 in Jakarta is 16.6 higher from the WHO air quality guidelines,” quote IQAir written statement at 09:30.
Due to this fact, IQAir implores the people of Jakarta to be careful while being outside due to the dangers of the pollution. They also urge Jakartans to wear face mask while outside.
