Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Defense has dispatched 800 tons of humanitarian aid to civilians in Gaza via air drop using Indonesian Air Force C-130 Hercules aircraft, which was launched Wednesday (13/8/2025) from Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in Jakarta.

The mission is being carried out in cooperation with the Jordanian military.

“From 1 to 24 August 2025, there is a set timeframe for delivering humanitarian assistance to Gaza,” said Defense Ministry Secretary General Lieutenant General Tri Budi Utomo, as quoted by antaranews.com. “We hope this aid will be useful for the people of Gaza.”

The shipment includes food, medicine, clothing, and other essentials, dropped into 10 designated safe zones in Gaza. Indonesian officials stressed that the operation is part of the country’s ongoing humanitarian commitment to Palestinians.
