Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian karate team secured seven medals at the 2025 Japan Karate Association (JKA) International Championship held at Amoranto Arena, Quezon City, Manila, the Philippines, on Sunday (28/9/2025).
“Participation in this championship is a concrete step to advance karate in Indonesia while proudly representing the nation internationally,” said JKA Indonesia Chief Instructor Suyana on Friday (3/10/2025), as quoted by antaranews.com.
Medal winners include Indra Fajar Dirgantara, who earned two silver medals in individual kata and kumite; Agoosh Yoosran, bronze in individual kumite; Armand Maris, bronze in individual kata; and three bronzes in team kumite from Firmansyah Putra, April Rustianto, and Armand Maris.
