Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Special Staff of the Minister of Public Works and Public Housing (PUPR) Water Resources Firdaus Ali says that the 10th World Water Forum could form a strategic partnership for the initiation of global water conservation.

“The 10th World Water Forum acts to strengthen international cooperation. Through this forum, states could form a strategic cooperation and collaboration to support the initiation of global water conservation,” said Firdaus on Thursday (4/25/2024).

Firdaus saw that the forum could serve in opening the global discussion for stakeholders from various countries and backgrounds to share knowledge, experiences, and the best way for conservation and management of water resources.

Then, in pushing innovation, the forum in Bali would also inspire innovation in sustainable water management technology and promote its implementation to the world.

Such as the Subak system which has been acknowledged by UNESCO as one of World’s Heritage in irrigation systems based on community.

“This forum is also to devise new policies and provide chances to formulate or renew policies to support efficient and effective water conservation and management,” conclude Firdaus.
