Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX) is targeting an average daily transaction value (RNTH) of Rp 13.5 trillion in 2025, supported by expectations of lower global interest rates and inflation. 

The IDX anticipates 242 trading days next year.

“We're optimistic due to The Fed’s recent 50 basis points cut, and we expect further reductions. The new government's economic policy, targeting 8% GDP growth, also adds to the positive outlook,” said IDX President Director Iman Rachman on Wednesday (23/10/2024).

The exchange plans to list 407 securities in 2025, including stocks, bonds, ETFs, and Asset-Backed Securities (EBA), up from a 2024 target of 340 listings.

The IDX also aims to attract two million new investors next year. As of October 18, 2024, the total number of investors reached 14.2 million, a 16% increase from 2023.

Market capitalization also rose by 11% year-on-year to IDR 12.967 trillion, while daily bond transactions grew 44.7%, reaching IDR 993 billion.
