inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Industry (Kemenperin) is preparing various strategies to open up relevant green job opportunities for the younger generation, while accelerating the transition to an inclusive green industry.

Minister of Industry, Agus Gumiwang Kartasasmita, stated that industrial training centers and vocational schools under the Ministry of Industry continue to develop green competency-based curricula, such as energy efficiency, low-carbon technology, and recycling practices.

Furthermore, the Startup4Industry program is one of the Ministry of Industry's flagship initiatives to support young entrepreneurs in the renewable energy, sustainable agriculture, and circular economy sectors.

"Through this program, we encourage collaboration between technology startups and small and medium enterprises (SMEs), and pave the way for them to enter the supply chain of large industries," he explained, as reported by Antaranews, Thursday (7/31/2025).

Furthermore, to strengthen the sustainability ecosystem, his office is also encouraging cross-sector collaboration through three main pillars: inclusive policies, innovative ecosystems, and active youth participation.

"These pillars serve as the foundation for the Ministry of Industry to develop environmentally friendly regulations, build collaborations with universities as incubators of sustainable ideas, and engage youth as strategic partners," he explained.
