Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency’s Directorate of Cyber Crime has confirmed that 27 social media influencers have been examined regarding their involvement in promoting online gambling.

"We are still in the process, having questioned 27 influencers, 14 witnesses, and six experts," said the INP Director of Cyber crime Brigadier General Himawan Bayu Aji said on Tuesday (8/10/2024),  addressing questions from reporters about the investigation's progress, which includes notable figures such as celebrities Wulan Guritno, Amanda Manopo, and Yuki Kato.

Looking ahead, he indicated that investigators would conduct a case review to establish the structure of the case, though he could not specify a timeline. 

"We will inform you about the case review later," he said, as quoted by antaranews.com.

In late 2023, the Cyber Crime Directorate had already sought testimony from Wulan Guritno, Amanda Manopo, Yuki Kato, and dangdut singer Cupi Cupita regarding the promotion of online gambling.
