Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Criminal Investigation Agency of the Indonesian National Police (INP) has questioned 44 witnesses in an alleged land certificate forgery case involving a sea fence area in Tangerang, Banten.
“So far, we have examined 44 witnesses,” said Brigadier General Djuhandhani Rahardjo Puro, the Director of General Crimes at the INP Criminal Investigation Agency, during a press briefing in Jakarta on Monday (10/2/2025).
The witnesses include local residents, ministry officials, relevant agencies, and experts. Among them is Kohod Village Head, identified as Arsin, according to antaranews.com.
Investigators found that the forgery of Building Use Rights (SHGB) and Ownership Rights (SHM) certificates has been ongoing since 2021 in Kohod Village, Pakuhaji District, Tangerang Regency.
Authorities have seized 263 documents sent for forensic examination. The suspect, identified as AR, is accused of falsifying official land documents.
The case, upgraded to a full investigation on 4 February 2025, involves the issuance of 263 SHGB and 17 SHM certificates by the Tangerang Land Office.
