Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The Jakarta Department of Population and Civil Registration begins to list the newcomers coming to the city following the return flow of Eid Al-Fitr.

“We will begin the listings for a month for those who are coming here. We are identifying if either they move here with their family or just come here to the city,” says Head of Population and Civil Registration Department of Jakarta, Budi Awaludin on Wednesday (4/17/2024).

The listings for Jakarta newcomers can be tracked through their official website, kependudukancapil.jakarta.go.id.

According to Budi, usually after a month following the Eid Al-Fitr, there are many newcomers coming to the capital city with their family. However, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government confirmed that they would not execute a judicial operation to control the newcomers.

“However, we implore those who are coming to Jakarta to already have a place to stay as it is part of the requirement to move to the city,” concludes Budi.
