Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Governor Pramono Anung has officially required all buildings exceeding four stories in Jakarta to connect their surveillance systems to the Jakarta administration’s network to bolster integrated city security.
"Buildings with more than four floors, per the Gubernatorial Regulation, will be connected to Jakarta’s managed CCTV, ensuring the city becomes fully integrated," said Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung on Saturday (4/4/2026), as reported by antaranews.com.
The policy aims to modernize urban monitoring, enabling authorities to respond faster to emergencies, criminal activities, and traffic management issues across the capital. This integration is part of a broader security initiative that includes installing surveillance cameras at the sub-district level to create a comprehensive digital safety net.
City Hall plans to extend this coverage into residential areas, targeting 30,000 points across Jakarta with an allocated budget of Rp 380 billion. The Governor said that this phased rollout will transform Jakarta into a smarter, safer metropolis by synchronizing private infrastructure with public monitoring centers to ensure 24-hour situational awareness.
