Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Jonatan Christie has advanced to the finals of the 2024 Arctic Open without competing in the semifinal against Kunlavut Vitidsar on Sunday (13/10/2024). 

The match was scheduled to be the final contest of the semifinals at Vantaan Energia Areena, but Kunlavut withdrew due to injury, resulting in a walkover win for Jonatan.

The semifinal was set to be their tenth encounter, with Jonatan previously winning six of the nine matches they had played. As a result, he is now the sole representative from Indonesia in the finals.

Jonatan will face either Chou Tien Chen or Koki Watanabe, who are competing for the chance to challenge him for the title.
