Inp.polri.go.id – Intan Jaya. Joint personnel of military and police successfully evacuate the body of Alexsander Parapak, the victim of Armed Criminal Group (KKB) shooting in Pogapa village, Intan Jaya Regency. The evacuation was carried out on Saturday (5/4/2024) morning.

On April 30th, 2024, KKB attacked Homeyo Sector Police, killing a man named Alexsander Parapak. The victim is an immigrant from Toraja and was just only 20 years of age.

Responding to the incident, security authorities immediately evacuated Alexsander from Homeyo to Timika.

Head of Damai Cartenz Operation, Senior Superintendent Faizal Ramadhani says that the evacuation process by joint forces was using the Penibad Bell Helicopter.

“During the evacuation process, other than evacuating the body of Alexsander, personnel also evacuated three immigrants who wanted to go back to their hometown,” said Faizal.

Moreover, Faizal conveys that joint forces of Blukar Task Force and Kopassus from Nanggala Task Force are still pursuing the criminals who attacked Himeyo.

On the other hand, the Head of Damai Cartenz Public Relations, Superintendent Bayu Suseno says that the body of Alexsander Parapak arrived in Mimika at 08.50 am and now is in hospital for autopsy and post-mortem. The funeral process of Alexsander is awaiting confirmation from his family.
