The General Election Commission (KPU) assures that all Polling Station Organizing Group (KPPS) officers in Jakarta have received their payment as in accordance to the regulations applied. “We have. We have paid them all on February 15th,” said the Head of Voter Education Socialization, Community Participation and Human Resources Division of Central Jakarta KPU, Sahat Donar Manullang on Saturday (2/24/24). Additionally, Sahat also states there are no public reports regarding the embezzlement of KPPS payment. During the 2024 General Election, Central Jakarta KPU have listed 215,362 KPPS officers. They also set the payment for 2024 General Election KPPS of IDR 1.2 million for the head unit and IDR 1.1 for regular members. Moreover, KPU has also instructed their regional branch to not violate the rights of KPPS officers. “KPU has warned its ranks in the regional branch to not violate the rights of KPPS officers, such as transport money and others,” said Sahat.
