Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  U.S. national volleyball player Kyle Russell has officially joined reigning Proliga champions Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi, bringing international experience and power to the squad ahead of the 2025 PLN Proliga final four.

The 31-year-old opposite hitter has begun training with the team and is expected to quickly adapt and debut in the upcoming match.

“Welcome to the club, Kyle Russell. More than just a new player, he’s here to be part of the change we fight for,” the club announced on its official Instagram page Monday (14/4/2025).

Russell boasts an impressive international career, having played in top leagues across South Korea, Poland, Germany, France, Italy, and Greece. Most recently, he was with Korean Air Jumbos and previously played under coach Ko Hee Jin, who also worked with Indonesian female volleyball star Megawati Hangestri.

The club, coached by Reidel Toiran, is also reportedly in talks with Cuban opposite Leonardo Leyva Martinez.

Jakarta Bhayangkara Presisi will face Surabaya Samator in the final four opener at GOR Jayabaya stadium in Kediri, East Java, on Thursday .
