inp.polri.go.id – To reduce the number of traffic accidents and violations, the personnel of the Majalengka Traffic Police, socialized and educate to students at PUI SMK in Majalengka Regency regarding road safety and security, Wednesday (20/07/ 22).
The Majalengka Traffic Police Goes to School program was carried at the School Environment Introduction Period (MPLS) for PUI Vocational Schools for the 2022-2023 Academic Year.
The Head of the Majalengka Police, AKBP Edwin Affandi, said that the Police Goes to School activity was a routine program that had been carried out by the police for a long time.
For the Majalengka Regency itself, many schools have been visited by the Majalengka Traffic Police Unit, especially to high school where most of the student will soon have a driver's license (SIM).
“Through this program, we hope that high school students understand the importance of obeying the traffic rules,” said AKP Ngadiman.
The Head of Public Relations of the West Java Police, Police Commissioner Ibrahim Tompo S.I.K., M.Si hopes that the presence of the police in the community can create a sense of security and the realization that the Police is there as protectors and eliminate any negative views towards the institution.
