Inp.polri.go.id – Jakarta. The investigators of Metro Jaya Police arrested two online gambling suspects, a woman with the initials of NA (42) and a man with the initials of CAS (40). The were arrested in two different places, in North Jakarta and West Jakarta. “We have uncovered a case and arrest the suspect of online gambling criminal actions,” says the Director of Special Criminal Investigation of Metro Jaya, Grand Commissioner Ade Safri Simanjuntak to reporters on Monday (10/23/2023). According to him, police initially investigated PAPI55 website and several others suspected of making online gambling content. “The website offers online gambling games such as lottery, slots, fish shooting, and football score gambling,” he explained. The arrested, NA is a customer relationship manager of PAPI55 players, while CAS is the owner of PAPI 55 online gambling who handles salary and website operational payment. “Moreover, the suspects also helped players who are having issues in placing their bets and handles the complaints from players,” said Ade. The case is the result of a case development of Indonesian National Police of Cyber Criminal Investigation Unit in Bali. (ad/ay/pr/nm)
