Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police’s Narcotics Directorate uncovered a narcotics distribution network, seizing 8,011 ecstasy pills and 38.97 grams of methamphetamine from two operations in West Jakarta and Indramayu, West Java.
“Three suspects were arrested in separate locations as part of the same drug distribution case,” said Assistant Senior Inspector Edy Lestari, the Head of Unit 5 of Sub-Directorate 3 of the Narcotics Directorate, in a statement on Thursday (15/1/2026).
Police first arrested two suspects, identified as DN and OJ, at an apartment complex in West Jakarta on Monday evening, where officers found 11 ecstasy pills and methamphetamine packaged in plastic clips. The following day, officers arrested a third suspect, RN, in Indramayu, seizing 8,000 ecstasy pills from a paper bag, according to antaranews.com.
Investigators believe the drugs were intended for distribution in Jakarta. All suspects and evidence are now in custody for further investigation.
