inp.polri.go.id  –  Metro Jaya Police held a fairly large-scale night patrol involving 595 personnel to secure the capital city and maintain the social order in the society. "We want to give assurances to the people of Jakarta that Metro Jaya Police is committed to continuing to maintain the beloved capital city and the agglomeration areas so that they remain in a safe, peaceful, and cool situation," explained the Metro Jaya Police Chief. Metro Jaya Police Chief Inspector General Mohammad Fadil Imran, emphasized that night patrols are a routine activity of Metro Jaya Police, however for that night they want to strengthen their patrols. "We routinely do this activity every night. But I want this operation to be more intense than other nights," said the Metro Jaya Police Chief. The Head of the Operations Bureau of the Metro Jaya Police also said that the night patrol activities of Metro Jaya Police are not only aimed at maintaining security and order, but also to oversee the implementation of health protocols in the community. The areas that are the focus of the night patrol include Semanggi, General Sudirman Street, Thamrin Street, Merdeka Barat Street, Majapahit Street, Gajah Mada Street, Hayam Wuruk Street, and City Station.
