Metro Jaya Regional Police has successfully uncovers the motive behind the murder of DDY (38) where his body was found surfaced in East Canal River (BKT), Cakung, East Jakarta. From the investigation of the police, suspects murdered the victim due to economic issues. “The motive of the suspect is because economic issues, where R has a debt of IDR 3 billion,” reveals Mobile Investigation of General Criminal Investigation Sub-directorate, Police Grand Commissioner Adjutant Titus Yudho Ully. He explains R has racked up the huge amount of debt due to his habit of living in luxury. Eventually the two met via Facebook social media when DDY about to sold his car. “The victim put an ad on his Facebook account to sell his car, and he was contacted by the suspect through Facebook where they were then arranged a meeting,” conclude Ully.
