Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta.  Brigadier General Djati Wiyoto Abadhy, the Jakarta Metro Jaya Regional Police Deputy Chief, revealed the identities of five men detained for alleged assault and vandalism during a national discussion held at Grand Kemang Hotel in Jakarta. 

Among those detained is identified as FEK, the field coordinator for the event.

"The second man, GW, was involved in vandalizing banners and assaulting security personnel, including members of the police who were also victims," he explained at a press conference on Sunday (29/9/2024).

Chief Djati further identified the third man, JJ, who was responsible for dismantling and destroying materials within the event space. Fourth man LW was also detained for his role in the vandalism and disruption of the gathering.

"The last one, MDM, similarly participated in the disruption and vandalism occurring inside the building," he added.

Of the five men detained, two have been named as suspects: FEK and GW.
