inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Metro Jaya Regional Police clarify the summoning messages on several influencers who attended the rally in front of Indonesian parliament building is a hoax.

The Head of Metro Jaya Regional Police Public Relations Division Senior Superintendent Ade Ary Syam says that his unit has found a summoning towards an influencer in the name of Indonesian National Police (INP) Criminal Investigation Agency.

Ade explains that the Criminal Investigation Agency level is in INP, while in sub-regional police, it should be a criminal investigation unit.

“It is clear as we would not make a mistake in naming our unit. Then we also found that the sender has the same phone number and used other accounts,” said Ade.

Previously, several social media influencers have posted in their social media that they were receiving messages, claiming to be from INP Criminal Investigation Agency, to come to the office for summoning. The summoning messages were sent through Whatsapp.

The influencers receiving the message are Pandji Pragiwaksono and Andovi da Lopez. Both influencers were ignoring the messages.
