“So, we have released the protesters in West Jakarta, the 105 protesters. Meanwhile, we also released seven out of 50 protesters arrested by Metro Jaya Regional Police. The seven protesters are six teenagers and one woman,” said Ade.

Ade continued that there are 143 protesters that are being investigated by the East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police and three by Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police. They were investigated for the allegations of committing crimes.

“They were investigated for damaging public facilities, Not obeying officials instruction three times, and also allegations of assaulting security officials,” explains Ade.

Detailing the police arrest towards protesters, Metro Jaya Regional Police has arrested 50 protesters, East Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police has arrested 143 protesters, Central Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police has arrested three protesters, and West Jakarta Sub-regional Metro Police has arrested 105 protesters. Out of all the arrested protesters, three were said to have burned a police patrol car in Pejompongan, West Jakarta.
