Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Minister of Tourism and Creative Economy Sandiaga Uno anticipated a significant economic uplift for Bali from the 2024 World Water Forum. 

He estimated on Monday (6/5/2024) the potential impact to range from USD 35 to 50 million (around Rp 561 billion to Rp800 billion), as reported by antaranews.com.

With expectations of attracting 35,000 to 50,000 participants from both domestic and international sectors, Minister Sandiaga emphasized the event's potential to generate substantial revenue for local businesses and stimulate the island's economy. 

He highlighted the forum's role in establishing Indonesia and Bali's strategic significance in water management, integrating local wisdom. 

As flight demand surged ahead of the forum's May 20 opening, he referred to ongoing analysis for additional flights to accommodate increased interest.
