inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. The Ministry of Social Affairs has begun disbursing social assistance as part of the stimulus package launched by President Prabowo Subianto to maintain people's purchasing power and encourage economic growth in June-July 2025.

"We are also launching the improved social assistance in June, in the form of an additional IDR 200,000 for recipients of Non-Cash Food Assistance (BPNT)," said Minister of Social Affairs Saifullah Yusuf, Wednesday (6/11/2025).

The Minister of Social Affairs explained that the additional assistance will be provided for two consecutive months, namely June and July 2025. Thus, the total additional social assistance received by the community reaches IDR 400,000 per recipient.

This staple food thickening social assistance program is distributed to around 18.3 million Beneficiary Families (KPM) who have so far received BPNT.

"This assistance is expected to ease the burden on the people, strengthen purchasing power, and help spur national economic growth," said the Minister of Social Affairs.
