Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Bank Indonesia (BI) Governor Perry Warjiyo said on Friday (21/3/2025) that Moody’s confidence in Indonesia’s economic resilience reflects strong fundamentals amid global financial uncertainty.
“This trust signals international confidence in Indonesia’s solid economic fundamentals,” he said in a statement, as quoted by antaranews.com.
Governor Perry emphasized that policy synergy and credibility remain key to macroeconomic stability.
BI’s commitment includes stabilizing the rupiah, liquidity incentives to boost economic financing, supporting digital transformation, and strengthening downstream industries and food security. BI also collaborates with the Financial System Stability Committee (KSSK) to maintain financial stability.
To sustain global confidence, BI will continue coordinating with the government in ensuring stability and driving growth through the government’s Astacita program.
Moody’s has affirmed Indonesia’s resilience, citing steady economic growth and credible monetary and fiscal policies as key strengths.
