Inp.polri.go.id - Jakarta. Senior Superintendent Susatyo Purnomo Condro, the Chief of the Jakarta Central Jakarta Metropolitan Sub-regional Police has urged officers to firmly address groups of teenagers disrupting the tranquility of Ramadan and pre-dawn meals with convoys.
He stressed the need for enforcement in residential areas and on streets, especially when such activities cause traffic congestion and disturb residents, as reported by antaranews.com.
"We must increase mobile patrols, especially in conflict-prone areas, and establish security posts. Currently, we have 24 posts in crime and conflict hotspots," Susatyo said.
School holidays have become opportunities for gatherings, often turning into convoys, which recently led to the detention of 49 teenagers for engaging in such activities.
The police urged parents to guide their teenage children to positive activities to prevent negative influences on their future.
