North Sulawesi Police Sends Aid to Mount Ruang Eruption

Inp.polri.go.id - Manado.  The North Sulawesi Regional Police sent humanitarian aid on Saturday (4/5/2024) in response to the aftermath of the Mount Ruang eruption in Tagulandang, Sitaro Islands Regency. 

North Sulawesi Police Chief Inspector General Pol Yudhiawan WIbisono directly  inspected the aid to assure its delivery via the Modolongkang Ferry on Saturday (4/5/2024).

The assistance consisted of vegetables and essential supplies like rice, sugar, eggs, noodles, oil, milk, tea, and water, according to antaranews.com.

Emphasizing the crucial need for vegetables and essential supplies for evacuees' health, Chief Yudhiawan said the aid will be handed over to local authorities in Sitaro, including the local police offices, local administration to support affected residents and police officers. 

The Mount Ruang last eruption occurred on 30 April 2024
